Catarina.
I’m a German Swede who has dreamed of independence and discovering new places since I was a child, after moving to southern Sweden at a very young age I discovered how different life is when everything around you stays still so since then I’ve made my way to Stockholm, then Toronto and then back to Stockholm again trying to find a nice ground for me to grow.
Currently living in Stockholm but daydreaming about making my way back to Canada or Germany.
Define what courage means to you personally.
Courage to me personally is trusting my instincts and staying true to who I am and my beliefs.
What would you define as your current courage (i.e. physically, mentally, spiritually, etc.)
Believing in myself and trusting my abilities to be enough for myself.
Do you feel you are changing perspective, creating new meaning during this time. If so simply explain.
Yes I do feel as though I’m changing perspectives a lot at the moment, after neglecting my inner self for so many years I decided to start listening to my body and mind and picked up meditation. It has helped me a lot dealing with stress and my inner demons, which has made me more open minded, calm and comfortable in my emotions.
How you are conversing, doing, creating.
I picked up my old analog cameras and have since tried to better my way of using photography as a way to describe myself and people around me. I’m currently working on a photo project that I hope to be able to share with my near and dear ones in the future as well as I’m in the middle of practising to get into drama school.

I gather most inspiration from my friends, seeing them go for their dreams make me feel so proud and in return I want to make them proud as well.

Taken at a tiny street on Södermalm called Bastugatan, where I take my relaxing walks with the most beautiful view of Stockholm, as a little grounding retreat.
